NSW: Budget on May 24=2
The budget is expected to contain changes to land tax on investment properties.
The government last year abolished the $317,000 land tax-free threshold, making more
than 300,000 properties liable for the tax for the first time.
Mr Carr today said he was aware of public concerns about land tax.
"I'm listening to the community on issues like land tax. I'm saying again there's going
to be a review of taxes in this budget that's coming down," he told reporters.
