Qld: Two holdups in Brisbane overnight
BRISBANE, April 3 AAP - A bottle shop and a Chinese takeaway were robbed in two separateholdups in Brisbane overnight.
Police said a man armed with a gun threatened an attendant at a drive-in bottle shopat bayside Redland Bay just before 7pm (AEST).
He fled with cigarettes and money in a white Falcon sedan with no number plates.
At Broadbeach Waters, on the Gold Coast, two men armed with a baseball bat and a knifethreatened staff at the Five Spice Chinese takeaway.
The men, who wore full-face balaclavas, escaped with an undisclosed amount of moneyfrom the till, police said.
